ADAMS Version 3.3

Preface

This ADAMS User Guide was designed to show you how to perform basic functions within ADAMS, step by step, in the most direct way. The individual sections are arranged in a sequence that follows a typical workflow. Throughout this document, we have used fictitious names for all persons in our screen shots and examples. Any resemblance to real persons, living or not, is purely coincidental. Please note, too, that some screen shots may appear different than in your installation due to browser settings and hardware configuration of your computer.

What’s New in ADAMS 3.3?

The ADAMS modules for Laboratories are not affected by Release 3.3.

For the sake of historic trail, we mention the enhancements of ADAMS 3.2:

  • An APMU functionality was introduced with the new Biological passport features. See section Hematological Passport.
  • It will be possible to add Steroid Profile variables to ‘locked’ analytical results. See section Editing a Lab Result.
  • Similar to the concept of the Import functionality to upload analytical results/BPLR, functionality is developed that allows for Updating existing results stored in the ADAMS database: for Lab results through CSV/XML files See section Update of analytical results through CSV / XML, and for BPLR through CSV files see section Update of BPLR through CSV.
